Timberwolf wood chipper 150 or 230

One day, in the next few years you will get to use a 230, within minutes you will feel a lump in your chest, your body will start to shake uncontrollably and tears will start pouring down your face, soon your legs will collapse beneath you and a friend will try to uncoil you from the fœtal position you have taken,  he’ll ask you what’s up, between the deep breaths and sobs he will finally understand what seemed unintelligible at first, but after the 50th time he’ll understand what you’re saying “I made a terrible mistake, and I can never get back those years!”

Is that what you want? Cos that’s what’ll happen!

Seriously though, I understand your rationale, I’m just bored.

Have you ever used a 230?

Yes Mick,

Used the 230 a couple of times awesome bit of kit I must say, my heart is set on the 230 to be honest. I'm not sure on what I'll be paying for the 230 but it must be around £10,000 to £13,000 mark, I've seen them at that price and I've also seen the 150's about £7,000

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought I'd wandered onto the thread about Christine Hendrix, or in your immortal words" big fat arse with dimples".

It’s amazing what those old 150s are still fetching.

If they were a couple of grand, fair enough.

Thought of lease/buying a new one?

The thought has crossed my mind and it might be the option that I’ll be taking.

Timberwolf are doing very good subsidised finance on new machines. And you can get a 5 year warranty on the new machines. And places like spectrum plant have some very good used ones which have been through the workshop.

I’ll take a look Tim thanks, what would you go for petrol or diesel?

From experience I wouldn’t have the petrol engine, if you can get it ordered fairly soon you’ll still be able to get one with the 35hp Kubota diesel. Failing that it will be the 24hp Kubota Diesel engine.

If I brought a 35hp now and in a years time the engine blew up, would it then have to have the 24hp shoved in it?
