I have the same gun on my small blasting cabinet it will only do a VERY small area at a time. Ok for what I use it for but over a large area would take forever.

Smaller jets as designed for a cabinet not open faced blasting,I have a cabinet here also

Yes but what type of pot/gun blaster are you using,The flow rate on 2 linked compressors will be the same as 1 because both rated at 3 hp so regulator will control the pressure. Only thing it will do is give a longer running time before motors kick in,Would need a bigger hp compressor for bigger CFM

Linked. So 6HP. Double the CFM of one.

I gave my mate a ton of grit to use with one of these kits, he said it was really slow and used loads of the grit to do one small panel. Couldn't reuse the grit again either. Did you find it quite slow Bob?

I got one and used it with the steam cleaner and yes it was a little slow but compared to what? Compared to anything I have used that runs off a workshop sized compressor I would say they are quick, our workshop compressor is a bit of a monster and that wont keep up with the pot below. I have since sold the one below and bought a proper Hodge Clemco set up that runs off a single tool road tow compressor, even that is nothing compared to my mates two tool and eight bag pot. for fast blasting you need shit loads of air, the more air you have the less sand you need.

No looked yesterday and around the 70 ish mark, Link below and look at the reviews,It has 3 nozzles so work from the smallest up and see how your compressor runs with them,I just use the biggest as runs great but a smaller compressor may need a smaller nozzle,3 sizes included

How long would it take to do say a van/ trailer wheel say 13 or 14" wheel and how much sand would u use?

Can u just use any dry sharp sand or does it have to be kiln dried?

Totally new to shot blasting, got no idea really.

Just checked my compressor 3hp,  think 100 litre and 14.5 CFM, so should be ok for it.

Aspen can u get the wet blasters for non karcher washers??

I've just got a cheapy screw fix job which has served me very well for a long time ( infact had to buy a 2nd as hose on old 1 gave up)
