Desperate for wood chips

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone. Please forgive me if this is in the wrong place? I'm going word-blind trying to find a suitable link.

I understood free wood chips were available through Arbtalk, but I can only find sites that accept them, not give them out. Can anyone direct me to the right place please? Any help or advice would be deeply appreciated. Thank you Em x

Em, wood chipping are a sought after product now, biomass supply chains can’t get enough of them at the moment. We used to put them in a muck spreader. We sell them by the tonne or cube.

I don't mind paying for them, but because I'm just a pensioner, I tried to find them free, or cheap. I didn't realise they were in short supply. I have an American chipper, which is brilliant, but no more trimmings to chip. I'll swap it for some chips haha

Thank you for replying.

Nope. My arse bandit earns me good money, just have to keep him fed and occasionally clean his leathers between customers. If you're interested I can send him your way. I'll tell him to be gentle.

He never listens though.

Look at that gentleman he seems to be commiting an act of gross indecency on that other young chap. Yes, he is an arse bandit
