Quality Ash saw logs

Recommended Posts

Im just about to cut the best stand of ash I've seen in a long time, real big and straight, clean butts. Anyone interested or know anyone who buys in Ash.

Have you thought about hurley sticks? Plenty of old posts if you search on hurley.

E.g

Don't hurley stick makers need the bottom four feet of a trunk only and including any buttresses?  I thought they usually ended up pushing the trees over.  Market for top quality Ash sawlogs will be big sawmills like Pontrilas I would say.

I do buy top quality Ash but I am overloaded with them right now!
