I’m not bad at cooking. I don’t do anything very complicated but I can make something out of nothing pretty reliably. I’ve noticed a few other forum members over the years seem to have some good ideas too. Post them here.

I’ll start us off.

From the plate up:

Warmed plate

Fried bread (toast for the infirm and elderly)

Avocado, chilli, garlic, balsamic vinegar and olive oil mashed up

Black pudding

Fried eggs

Salt while the eggs are frying and black pepper once you’ve split the yolks

Bon appétit.

Whole roasted garlic butter chicken for tea tonight, stripped down with all the bbq leftovers from this week, baby salad potatoes, tomatoes, homemade potato salad, cheese coleslaw, cucumber, on top of a small garlic and corriander flat bread. [emoji39][emoji108]

Nice, at the risk of causing all out war, which black pudding do you go with?!

I make something similar for breakfast on occasion, drop the chilli, swap the pudding for cherry toms and grate some emmenthal with the avocado then heat it on the bread until the cheese softens, while the egg fries.

All sounds rather posh for breaky. But does look pretty good.
