Tree Leaking

Question

Had a limb cut of a tree that was damaged and is now leaking. Will this heal up on it's own or should i be worried? ? It could be sap but it is very water and drips alot off tree, attempting to uplaod video but can't seem to get it to work.

 

Any replies appraciated, thank you in advance.

Catch it, makes a good wine, or similar. Have also heard of it being used to sweeten tea or watered down if you don’t like it neat.

 

it normally stops in a couple of days but occasionally lasts up to a week, quite possibly linked to how much moisture it is up taking from the ground.
