Test results back, ive got it and have to assume wife also has it.

Its bloody rotten,8days of the most miserable aching coughing til ive sprung a rib, boiling then freezingand trouble sleeping and not much better after all this time.

I wouldn't wish it on anyone let alone the elderly.

At least im paid and looked after by ambulance service

Hope you feel better soon, keep us posted.

all the symptoms sound exactly what we all had at Christmas so I’m still holding on to the hope that we already had it ?

Debatable if this has been around for a while.
One of the children my g/f looks after is like a tank, never ever ill and came back from a holiday abroad and was really ill, like the flu but really bad, got passed around a large part of his family.

2  years ago  I had a persistent dry cough that lasted a couple of months . No other symptoms , nothing to cough up but just kept coughing . Ended up passing out in the kitchen fracturing my cheek bone and eye socket .  Day in hospital .  Aparently if you cough hard enough your chest muscles compress on your heart stopping the oxygenated blood getting to the brain  and over you go .Could this have been a from of some type of Corona Virus ?

Simona took the baby for check up yesterday, she told the doctor about us being ill and even he said he believes it could have been it.

Bloody hell. That must have been a bit worrying.

Shes got a dry cough which is getting worse, had it for over a week now. A fever and her chest is getting increasingly tight. Hopefully it comes to nothing more serious.

Yep it was getting to be a bit of a pain . Don't think I had a fever but never checked , oh maybe they did in hospital .  It hurt on my breast bone .

Steve I had a mechanic fixing my tractor at around Valentine’s Day, coughing and spluttering all over me all day long, I got it, I was absolutely knackered, bad cough and tired. Passed it on to my family too. I have a feeling this virus has been around for sometime.
