So, by your reasoning, if there was someone who wanted to shoot someone else and you personally gave them the gun to do it, knowing full well their intention, then it would be the gun/bullet manufacturer who was to blame?

Yes, just the same argument that it was manufacturer of the artificial fuel who is to blame for enabling the Panzers to be able to go to war

Incorrect. The National Rifle Association's view on this is, guns don't kill people. People kill people.

Ok, so they use a gun to do it, but it's nothing to do with the gun. And if everyone had a bigger more powerful gun than the person who killed someone with a gun in the first instance, it would never have happened because everyone else could have killed the potential killer with their guns first.

In Norway there is compulsory military training for young adults.

Then they are in the reserves untill they are 40.

They keep their automatic Rifles at home.

If guns are the problem, why not these guns?

Since their owners are literally trained killers?

I think you're missing the point. Perhaps we should pin it on whoever invented fire instead?

I blame it all on that Eve woman, everything in the garden was rosy until she screwed it all up, downhill all the way since.

Lived and worked as a climber in the states for some time (New York, Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland) great place, great people. Solid, trustworthy, dependable, hard working and all with a great sense of humour.

Anyone from out-with America who dismisses it out of hand is doing so out of ignorance and stupidity.

If you are American and you hate America you are a traitor to every American who lived before you who worked their fingers to the bone carving a life for them and their families out of a vast inhospitable wilderness.
