Time For A New Knife

I have a few Letherman's. The Wave is great as the blades open and closed one handed. I also have a wee Leatherman that is flight safe and does not actually have a blade, just scissors, screw Drivers, Pliers and tweezers.

Got a Buck Knife from the US and made my own off-shore as well. :D Always had a few knives since I was a kid.

But both knives are lock-blades, and I understood it was illegal to carry  any lockblade in the UK.

Unless specifically work related.

This is my understanding

By that I mean I always carry a penknife in my hip pocket, a tidy aluminium scaled Swiss Army "Officer" model I think it is.

I carry a multitool with two 1 1/2" blades on my belt most of the time and keep a locknife in my lunchbag, which I only take out if I am working or volunteering

So would I "get away" with the lock-blade if stopped by a zelous PSNI Officier when out and about?

As a retired person other than on you own land, I doubt it.
