On the face of it a hit, though some detail re the suspension arrangements and loadings would be nice?

And a full height image?

Presumably it would still need some sort of hearth as hot material can still fall from it when fuelling.  Certainly looks interesting though for installation where there is no existing chimney.

As in, where does the flue go that is any different to a floor mounted stove?

A floor mounted stove requires a non-combustible surface on the floor around the stove.  I'd guess this does as well despite it not touching the floor.

Here is another wider image. That must place a fair bit of pressure on the flue pipe?

I'll guess the outer pipe conceals the flue and acts as the structure, taking the structural load and allowing a cool material to be bolted to the ceiling.  I bet there is no structural load on the flue itself.
