Woodland Worker Required - North Northumberland

We are looking for an experienced woodland worker to join our small team for 1 day per week at Fowberry Estate, located just East of Wooler, Northumberland.  This would be as a contractor, and additional days may be required on occasion.

 

It is essential that the right person holds a City & Guilds NTC Level 3 Award in Felling and Processing Trees Over 380mm (QCF), and also that they are fully covered by their own insurance.

 

We are looking for a person that is trustworthy, and can work well alone, as well as part of a small team.

 

It is desirable that the right person has some experience operating tractors, forestry winches and trailer based timber forwarders, and would ideally hold a City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award in Forest Machine Operations - Base Machine with Forwarder and Skidder.  It is also desirable that they have a knowledge of Continuous Cover Forestry.
