yeah, idealy the saw only comes with the picco micro chain, if your unsure what to get, just get another the same. the only diffs are wether you want the bumper tie links or not! stihl actualy do a cabide tipped version for cutting crap like frozen wood, or stuff thats covered in mud etc, its a pain in the bum to sharpen tho, and its quite expensive so it maybe easier to keep a couple of standard chains to use instead. mastering your sharpening is the best way forward!!

that is the true answer and also it is very hard to get full chipper now

 

personally i would always say stick with one of the quality brands of chain , orogon, huskie/em/stilth cant really go wrong with those and genneraly the semi's offer the best mid oint between effichency and long lasting edge, as well as gennerally well behaveed.
