the Echo bars clog up quite easily especially on pine and poplar,  to clean the bar oil channel is quite tricky sometimes.  I use a stiff bristled brush, brake cleaner and the air line.  Do not tighten up the bar stud retaining nut too much as they can be a weak point.

I’ve often found my echo chain very fiddly to to get right. It can be slightly too loose and chain starts to run, tweak it a fraction and then tightens up emoji848.png
But then it settles down and good for a while

Thanks both for reply’s but am stumped to what it is so it’s going in to Have someone who know what there doing to have a look at it....it’s a fab little saw and I would say just edges out the stihl 150 for me..have both but the Echo gets the first shout...but time to give the 150 a good work out.?
