Sorry!

thats bleeding expensive mind.

If you phone them up, they take your postcode then say they can't offer you a service? (In the past, it was always the 'water board' who emptied septic tanks.)

That's cheap, cost me nearly £500  :(

But if it needs done there's not much you can do.

Anyway, back to the topic!

I wonder if it would work to get some promotional type ceramic mugs printed up, and have them for sale at a low price with an honesty box, people can then bring them back and reuse them, or take them home and reuse. No waste then

I know that to be wrong for sure.

In what respect Eggs?

I am merely quoting from memory from what the farming brother told me, a wheen o year ago, and indeed NI may well be different to the rest of the UK in respect of farming regs.

cheers

The laws may well be different . Digested cake sludge is spread on arable ground regardless, under licence and each field soil sampled .

Sludge goes through reception works, if those works go out of compliance sludge that should go to land that grows crops for human consumption goes through the process again, until it is compliant.

Squaredy, were the cups at westonbirt no good? Industrial recycling only?

I didn't get to Westonbirt on Thursday, although I went past I didn't have the time.  I went to the Forestry Commission hardwood auction at Cirencester but had to race back afterwards.  I will try and find out, but I suspect that like the RSPB it is PLA based vegware.

I havent found out much about these but had a rep in this morning and they are going to be supplying most of the uk with these as from 2020 - https://www.rijo42.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/rijo42_rco_cup_press_release.pdf

They use a water based rather than plastic based sealer inside.

Now that is very interesting.  I will report back here when I have investigated.  If it is as good as it sounds I will also inform the RSPB!
