tractor and chipper rates

i’ve got fuelwood coming out monday to give it the once over, not worth causing any more damage if there is a problem 

the guy i was chipping for was very perturbed when i told him i wasn’t chipping anymore

hell be even more pissed when he gets the repair bill

My sympathies are not with your customer in this instance, it's your livelihood. At least you'll get some comfort after a look over by Fuelwood at least. Fingers crossed its limited to blades and holders.

i’d already picked out a load of other bits of metal from the pile as i was going along, absolutely no care taken by the lads felling and stacking the trees. surprising really as they used to own there own heizo

Prob why they got rid, couldn't afford the repair bills!
Strange how some people think because the chipper is big it can cope with crap going through when in reality they are just as falable to damage as a 6"machine but with much bigger repair bills.
