Shaved alot hazel for of yurt poles with a normal  draw knife dunno the maker.

 

Maybe a curved one would be ideal bur harder to sharpen it?

This is what I've used to strip hazle when I make greenwood children's chairs, incredibly sharp and has quite a lot of flex to the blade for the curve.
