I was given a (Ergostart?) 2014 Stihl BG86C blower to look at as the starter cord was jammed.    Popped the R clip, washer and pawls out to find the starter spring was mangled so ordered a new one and fitted it with no problems. The recoil spring was fine and pulls the cord back into the housing straight away.   The machine pulled and started fine half a dozen times, then came back to me with the same problem.
