No, not allowed by her in doors to stop on the bike for long enough. Got to take my exercise but at least I'm allowed to take it places I enjoy!

It's not actually an avenue but a grove in an open part of the park near Cumberland House. Did not stop long enough to read all the plaques under the trees but certainly some interesting shaped oaks and leaves.

Went back in the autumn of 2020 and half inched 300 plus acorns which I have grown on and will plant out this autumn when I can get a spade in the ground.

A good friend's daughter died recently and they are going to plant a small wood in her memory. I would like to give them one of the Winsor park oaks and would like it to stand out.

Would Scarlet or Red oak cope with clay?
