storage for work equipment

Latest moan :Been a bit of a carry on lately with regards to work equipment storage as loosing current storage facility with not much notice and can’t seem to find a good unit for a fair price. even a very small 2.5x3m container is £20 a week and that’s after some negotiating but after thinking about it more its too small. not wanting to spend more than 30 quid a week on a small secure unit but can’t seem to find much.

Also Crime with the local pikey brigade is getting worse and considering now off just doing something new if storage charges might make it not viable or less worthwhile

any ideas if asking a farmer can I rent some land for a shipping container is a good idea ? what would be a fair offer if I am providing the container .perhaps free logs would be a good arrangement ? ie 6 dumpy bags a year fully seasoned is a  fair offer ?

There must be people doing similar things.whats your arrangement ?

many Thanks
