Fixing bolts with resin

Welded up some 1/4” plate to hold my shotguns and rifles about 20 years ago. Had 3 semi concealed heavy padlocks with overhang on the doors. No bugger would get in without oxy/acet.
Moved 10 years ago and the local tosser stipulated a cabinet made with a BS no that you could lever open with a screw driver. Sure, it’s bolted to the granite back wall and screwed to the floor, but it’s as effective as fuck all

Not sure if they can stipulate what type of fixing or material you attach it into as long as it’s secure. I guess the relationship you have with or the character/common sense of the FLO is what will determine how it goes. I went over the limit capacity wise on mine and ended up putting a second in the loft secured to heavy timber joists which was passed off no probs.

I hid my Brattonsound gun cabinet keys (twice) before going on holidays, hid them so well I could not find them that is!

Anyway I had to ask a locksmith's advice, a 10mm dia hole with a cordless drill and  tap with a hammer on a drift (about 3 min per lock) and I was in.

Scheesh!

P.S.

Needless to say I did not order a spare set of keys when I lost the first set, neither "mislaid" set have ever surfaced yet either, a good few years later.
