Knee ascender with zigzag and Chicane

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I have just started playing with srt following a knee operation. Currently using a zigzag and chicane with foot ascender. However in light of my knee I would like to try a foot and knee ascender combo. Any recommendations on the best way of doing this? Ideally the smallest set up that is easy to stash away when not in use.

Cheers David

i made one similar to this apart from my foot loop stays on my foot and i clip to it with a micro karribiner.

these are easy to make and the acssender is the only cost really.

the haas looks bulky to me, not really used one though.

Also have a diy one like you describe. The haas is better, not bulky and has more spring so you can step furthur and capture more progress with each step.
