Nice customers

Well this week we had two days felling conifer and dragging to the chipper in the pi$$ing rain. The customer for two days watched us and drank coffee from her conservatory window while we got wet and cold. Didn't offer a drink but did ask if we could move our truck and chipper off the drive so she could get her car near her front door. The Truck went on the road making the drag longer so the customer didn't get wet unloading shopping. We completed the job with a smile and left the site moaning what a miserable so and so she was.

Todays job, customer was at work but left a nice note and refreshments should we need them. He had put tea and coffee a kettle and some biscuits in the summer house below the tree we felled. I just had to post his note because it made me smile and to all of you that got soaked this week I hope it puts a smile on your face. When he came home he even made bacon and egg butties !1965783546_InkedIMG_20190926_15012314204_LI.thumb.jpg.acb73ec7a0dcf0fd902f657dccdd1860.jpgp2.thumb.jpg.c3e5a4b618f5002082ac49107b239912.jpg

I like this sharing.

My French clients, who represent 95% of all of my clients these days rarely venture beyond a single miniscule coffee.

Asking for milk causes visible consternation so I just take it black and grit me snaggled teeth.

Today, in the rain, client watched through the verandah windows, sipping coffee and taking shots for her social media accounts.

*uck 'em, we just chugged our Huel and trudged on.

Coffee and biscuits on tap from the neighbour on a job today, to be fair the fella who owned the property was on his way back from working in Italy, nice gesture from the bloke next door though. The bloke who owned the property wasn't so forthcoming when I told him what he owed me but he paid and sent me a text saying "thanks for getting this sorted so quickly" , I sent him a text back saying, "if I hadn't got the tanker there when I did the downstairs of your house would have been written off". Pay as you go text tale installed alerting himself and me due to him working abroad a lot.
