Monkey puzzle

Hey people,

I have the opportunity to obtain a monkey puzzle in the next few weeks. The tree is still standing g but dead. Its roughly 10metres tall.

Few questions,

I hear it's a valuable wood turning timber, is there any value in selling the tree?

I have a setup for  milling so would I be better off milling it myself? If so any recommendations when milling it?

Thanks, Danny

Yep sticky as and heavy but amazing boards , I have a load of monkey puzzle that I got a few months back can’t wait to Mill the rest of it ,the sections with the branches are worth it but the rest will probably be quite plain, there should be some photos of some shelves I did for my daughter in the woodcraft forum, so I would say get it and mill it .
