I watched the video. Struggle to believe that its real to be honest. It amazes me how much effort people will go to in the pursuit of likes and views from strangers.

Mmmm . Maybe I have missed something ...

No I don't think so. There's a channel on YouTube that restores old rusty things and its quite impressive and mesmeric.

Found out recently that they buy stuff, and leave it in the garden in a muddy puddle for a bit and then "restore" it.

I can’t see how or why you’d fake it, he does loads of vids of stuff he does (not that I subscribe)

None of it seems beyond belief.

Old shabby digger gets left in the woods because it seems like a difficult and not economically viable onsite fix, the years pass, land gets sold.

Looked genuine to me, but perhaps, just perhaps, or perhaps not, the history was a trifle sexed-up to catch the casual browsers eye.

But as I said, looks essentially genuine, to a cynical 60 year old me.

Regardless, why does no-one leave diggers like that up my abandoned Woods?

Snot fair!

At 9.26 there's a shot of the track behind the digger...
Not to mention the ferns with exposed roots around the front of the tracks...
Definitely not been put there.
