Other way round Mick . Hardened then tempered back to a suitable rockwell value  for the intended use . Then finish ground .

Yep you certainly do need it a North Yorkshire tree company has found out on numerous occasions
I wouldn’t go near a Forst with its boiling bearings and electrical glitches.


I found out with 2 machines on a good few occasions! Bandits don’t seem to have the same problems strangely enough !
