Why are people just rubbish

Rang an arbtalk member yesterday about a small job, it wasn't for him but he recommended another lad, (I'm not blaming the the fella I rang), fella agreed to meet me at 09.00 this morning, I sorted it with the client, guess what, he cancelled me late yesterday evening, guess who looks the Cnut?

You cant trust anyone other than yourself. My best mate agreed to help my new neighbour out (an elderly women) with some flagging...I told him no fking about at all the job gets done bang on ect , and he agreed. I even picked him up Sat/Sun morning as he had no car...He done the job ,saved her 400 from other quotes but he promised to come back for other work and left a little bit of mess as he was coming back, that was 2 years ago , I ended taking the mess and its still in a corner of my garden...wont recommend again but he is a good lad who does a good job for good money, just needs supervision or something.

I think I've got it sorted for Tomorrow, but it's a load of hassle I don't need. She's fine, I've told her I got let down, what else can you do apart from trying to get a living?
