Lantra PTI Course Re-take Availability

Hi all,

I'm just wondering if any of you know anywhere that has upcoming dates for a re-take of the PTI course?

I've searched on google but it's not bringing up many results within an acceptable travel distance.

Ideally I'd like somewhere that provides a refresher in the morning before the re-take (I've found some places that do not provide this).

I'm in Northamptonshire and am willing to travel up to 60/70 miles.

Many thanks

Yes had a look on here, but it doesn't say anything about a refresher of the information, just the examination. (Arrive at 12;30, assessment at 13:30). I can't imagine they'd pack all of the information into 1 hour!

The syllabus hasn't changed much. Just brush up on what you missed last time.

I failed the first time in 2017 as I got some fungi ID wrong.

I recently resat it and had no problems.

Thanks Mark, I think I first tried in 2017 also. Just the written paper that caused me problems, as I find it highly academic. I have more of a practical, 'hands on' sort of mind so all of the exact wording of information is hard for me to remember. The inspection and fungi ident were a breeze for me.

Been doing lots of revision, but fearful of failing again ?

Brushing up on VTA terminology is a good idea eg compression forks, axioms, t/r ratios etc.

As for the legal based side of things then all I can suggest is you just keep re-reading it and maybe make notes.

You've already sat the exam once so you know what you're in for.

Don't worry too much mate. If it goes tits up then you can always do it again.
