add to that 2 climbers, 3 Groundsman, 2 trucks and a chipper and so the maths 

Would expect crane to be more than that steve. I quoted one back end of last year and it was over £1400 for crane contract lift, with no road closures.

We took down a massive , I think Sycamore , ( so long ago )  right next to the church in Nutborne  village . Luckily there was a dissused industrial plot to the rear . There was me and my mate Steve ( climber ) Crane and banks man . The biggest lump was just short of 4T on the crane . Can't remember what it cost but used the crane to put Steve in the tree and was all down in a day   .   Took another day to cart all the fire wood away !
