Like the one Stihl had? 15k if I remember correctly

That's the ballpark. I know of one probably similar to Stihl's that was £13k.

Shame it’s so much, was wondering if you could square grind full chisel with it as you appear to just clamp normal files in?
Also it is 12v as well as 240

Square ground chain is really tough to do - yo don't hold the file flat it is held up at an angle and you sharpen outside in - basically a very tough thing to get right!

I’ve never tried it myself but presume you could do it easily if you could clamp the file in the machine at the correct angle.
I noticed on one of the vallorbe vids he just clamped normal round and flatfile in the frame.

Yep - it won't do it - you really need to try square ground chain filing - most think instead of a round file you use a square file but pretty much same sort of action. It isn't at all - not only do you have to hold the file at an odd angle - the corner of the file has to line up exactly with the corner of the tooth. A round file it all sits in there for you.

Watch at 8.39 to see. I spent 3 hours one day trying to get it right... and failed!
