cougars

has anyone used the non CE stuff side by side with the CE marked stuff??

i have heard the CE stuff has more stretch.

i have used the non CE stuff for a while and have been happy with it.

Totally different rope. The original Cougar rope is polyester cover and polyester core. Very low elongation (2%). The CE version has a nylon core, with enough stretch to conform to the CE standards. I have used the CE rope and its fine but way stretchy in SRT configuration.

cool thanks , i just thought if there was not much of a difference then i may as well get the CE stuff, 

i like the non CE cougar, the only gripe is that it goes into more of a square  profile when used with the bulldog bone, this can make advancing the bulldog have a bit more resistance as the square profile can turn and become wider.  

any other ropes that are good for the bulldog bone ??
