Cleaning sticky sap

Hi guys, so after milling some of the monkey puzzle my bar and mill are covered in very sticky sap, white spirit wouldn't touch it soap and water wouldn't touch it I don't want to just scrape it and put horrible scratches on everything so any ideas

I would just stick it through some oak. Or if it's going to be a while before next use another it in bar oil and this may stop the sap setting rock hard

Very similar to Isopropanol but as Aceton is Nail Poilish remover its much cheaper than Isopropanol.
Oh I have 25ltrs of a aceitone it came with a job lot of paint, cool will try that,

DONT put it on plastic thou, some plastics will be destroyed by acetone as aceton,s main use is for cleaning brushes and rollers in the fibber glass trade,
