Trailer advice

I haven’t seen one in the flesh but these seem good value for money - a firm called liverseed trailers are always listening them cheaply on Facebook - https://www.meredithandeyre.co.uk/trailer-range/flat-bed-trailers/2

I’ve not personally had great experiences with Brian James - we have a plant trailer that keeps cracking (amongst other issues) even though it looks a very well made bit of kit.

Also, I’d avoid the small (10’’) wheels and/or really low profile tyres (all wheel sizes) on any trailer unless absolute minimum load height is essential - they can’t take any form of abuse/sidewall damage etc and we seemed to be forever replacing them. The best trailer wheel/tyre combo in my experience is the current Ifor Williams 12’’ 185 heavy duty available on their tippers and plant trailers - we have had zero issues in the 18 months we’ve been running these on 3 trailers (he says, touching wood!). I don’t know if they offer them on their flatbeds but I’d certainly be spec’ing them if possible.
