Ive just come back from doing a year of tree work in Oz. You can get a years working holiday visa on the same day you apply. If you have the right quals and experience its really easy to pick up work espessially if your a competent climber, which from what ive seen they are short of in western Australia where I was working. The year I was there I worked for 5 different companies from the bottom to the top of the west coast. Turning up to there yard and showing your face is the best way.  If you have any more questions im happy to help and am more than happy to put you in touch with the companies I worked with as there always looking for climbers.

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
