Yep, I’m definitely reconsidering! 15” bar for the 550 then something a bit bigger to run an 18-20”. Probably a far better option all round! Thanks folks ?

A Husky 365 is a good saw with a 20"bar and a good price

I would get a 560 with a 15" bar and then swap the bars around

For firewood I uses a makita lecky corded saw, a cable is a slight hassle but no fumes saves petrol, build quality is good its lasted yrs.

Its cuts loads faster than  say a MS181 as 2kW but obviously no where near a 550xp

50cc = 1 saw plan

2 saw plan = 60+cc saw and 50 or less cc

get a 365 x-torq for a value big saw,get a 462 fo a spendy and very powerful saw

me, 365 x torq....and ms180.  difference in weight makes me use the little saw if i can, difference in go makes it fun when i get to big logs and not a pita

I did 550 and 562 both on 3/8 chain . Okee 562 crashed and I bought a 572 xpg .

Swap chains , cant swap bars from the 550.

My 560 came with a 0.058" gauge bar same as 550. I know some convert them but thought this was the standard gauge for a 560.
