As an aside, I spent much of last week chipping and stacking logs for a fella who has a 3 year old rav4 it fell to pieces towing one ton loads of branch wood. The old ones are good. The new ones have psa running gear.
Useless raised up car.
A mid 2000s vitara may be worth a look.

Are you sure of the PSA running gear ?

I know BMW engines are being used but as far as I'm aware there's never been any input from PSA....

I know the commercials  share the same vehicle as does the entry level Aygo share with Citroen and Peugeot..

Honda Crv, great little motor. Use mine for towing the mill and for pulling trailer loaded with trees out of the forest.

Older shape rather then new as new is not so rugged, having said that I've got one of each and only get to drive the new one when we go on holiday as wife seems to hide the keys!

My partner is selling her 54 RAV4 3dr 2.0 Petrol XT3 VVT-i with less than 50,000 miles on the clock. 2 lady owners, FSH. This car is 2-tone (dark grey with silver bumpers) and comes with full leather and a/con. She wants less than your budget.

It has been faultless for her since she's owned it for about 3 & 1/2 years. Couple of small car park marks and alloys could probably do with a touch up - good tyres.

Let me know if of interest.

Hello I think both are good trucks and companies are renowned and trusted. One of my friend had got isuzu it's revving got a little uncomfortable little later on.. I suggest u could try finding out some common problems on google that these trucks have because many discussions are articles do talk about all this. you can get a better idea about what kind of truck problems you can tolerate..
