tree marking

It depends on who marked them . Here generally  a a diagonal slash in flu-recent paint ( pink perhaps ) means its coming out  . A dot means leave it , even if its dead , probably for habitat .  but that's not universal by any means . Ask who marked them up .

Basically any works yr doing should be on a works schedule with a tree management system and corresponding mapping n tree tags / markings. All constraints and permits listed with an ecological  component. If not.... I would be concerned. K

Thanks! Will try and get some paper work to have a look at ? all I know atm is that there is a licence for around 350 trees to be thinned

....that's with my Professional head , on, cos recently, got asked to eco-survey a site n found Japanese Knotweed, which Obvs totally changes site operations. Guys knew abt it but didn't want to mention it out loud  - I mentioned out loud that you can be arrested for it..... K

loads of the wood has already been removed
