Have a look at the citb website if you have any questions about the Plant Operators Blue Card.

If you have had your red card for two years; find a centre to complete your NVQ, they can register you for your NVQ and send the details to citb who will extend your red card for a year whilst you do your NVQ to achieve the blue card. If you contact your local CPCS centre then they can talk you through everything and let you know where you can get registered for the NVQ in your area.

All depends on the requirements of you employer/future employers/industry.

Does feel like I’m going round in circles. Assumed There’d be a nvq somewhat related to what I’m doing il probably pick piling.
