nice one craig, whats the green thing on the steps behind you? are you spraying your stumps??

 

Cheers Steve, and yes the green thing is a small Hozeloc sprayer for sprayin stumps.

 

NAH, I reckon craig just needs to clean his old manky metal wedges :biggrin:

 

No manky metal wedges used on this job brand new shiny hilifts :001_tt2:

As a matter of interest, can anyone tell me why on a heavy backleaner, I put the back cut in relatively high and not level with the gob ?

 

The height difference means that the fibres that bend do so over a greater distance, and thus breaks later, giving you a bit more control.

 

How was that, for an explanation that makes no sense to anyone except the author :confused1:
