I see lidl have bandsaws on sale tomorrow,has anybody got one.

Any comments before I am tempted to part with dosh.

I've got the portable metal cutting bamdsaw, if that's the one you mean, but from Aldi, not Lidl. Haven't used it yet, apart from testing that it works, and it does.

Just had a look on the website, I could see various DIY tools in the offers for tomorrow but no bandsaw (despite it being in the header picture). Any info on price, physical size, motor size etc?

For what it’s worth - the Lidl tools i’v3 had in the past have always been alright for my own domestic use; I’ve got no experience of trying them on heavy duty work though!

I paid £50 odd quid for some heavy duty jump leads a couple of years ago from a tractor dealer, only to see their doubles in Lidl a couple of weeks later for £12.50. Occasionally there are bargains.

The bandsaw is a very light duty domestic tool, don't expect to but bowl blanks or veneer on it......
