Is the metering arm in the carb stuck down ?

Hi Stubby, gonna get it on the bench today. Where is the metering arm? I’ve had a look on an explosion of the carb but can only find a metering diaphragm, is it known as something else? Tia.

Under the diaphragm it operates a valve. Careful if you undo the screw holding it's spindle down as there is a lively spring underneath it. :D Make sure you get the diaphragm back the right way up.

+1

Bought a saw a while ago which wouldn't run... did a good once over then stripped the carb - somebody had put a new diaphragm in upside down ?‍♂️flipped it over, she's been a great saw ever since ?
