Thanks nepia,first time i have had to deal with it, its only small,but was a bit anxious for the blades, Kwikchip 160.and for round the young apple n pear.thanks for your reply mate.

Don't think bamboo sprouts from top growth; it sure didn't when I chipped my own back onto the ground it had been growing in.

If you put the roots through the chipper though...?

The Bamboo is being topped,no root attachment,so should be ok,thanks to all. PS,this bloody Panda takes up a load o hoose room.
