Tablets

I'm thinking about joining the 21st century and getting a tablet for work. I'm used to taking tablets for my aching back and legs etc. but not electronic ones! I've always taken a paper diary with me for quotes but I'm thinking of the benefits using a tablet might have. I would like one that would link to my chrome book at home and my samsung phone so that I can access documents that I have created on them. Is the obvious choice something like a galaxy tab? I also like the look of the huawei or maybe the amazon fire? What are people using/recommending? I don't want an ipad as being an android user, they look way to complicated!!

I use an old jcb waterproof tough phone just for calls and an Ipad for everything else. Tried the smart phone thing but found them way to fragile, dont know anyone with one thats not got a cracked screen. Ipad does the lot for me on the move and easy to use.

I have the Huawei tablet only because they gave me it for free . It mates with my Huawei phone and I can " gift " the data from the tablet to the phone should I ever need to . Unlikely as I mostly use the WiFi . I do think however it is a useful addition .

I bought the galaxy s3 tab a while back. Barely touch my laptop now. Its amazing. Saves me loads of time. Got quickbooks on it. Microsoft office. You can do your application for tpos. Ad if its an easy job to work out the price on, I quite often ping a quote over to the client as we're chatting.

Check out amazon theres a good deal with a fintie keyboard ad cover which is a lot cheaper than the samsung keyboard.

I got one of these.

It lives in the workshop has android and windows, has shared file access from MS Office and Dropbox and is less than £200 with a keyboard so if it gets broken it is not a disaster. Internet access is via a personal hotspot from my phone so no need for a separate data contract. It's a bit slow but for less than £200 I can live with that.
