Husqvarna 365

Just wondering if anyone has views on a Husqvarna 365, I've been looking at getting one to go with my 550xp (when it's fixed) so I can use a longer bar length (28"), I'm living on a farm and have access to a lot of fallen trees that I can turn in to logs, but as I'm fairly new to all this I'm not sure what the equivalent Stihl is or if 365 is the right one to go with.

365 is a belting old skool saw for not a lot of money, they will out last any of the Auto tune crap.

 

28" will be pushing it on a 365 though, 20" and there nice.

Thanks Ian… just been to the local dealer and they have a 390xp with a 24” for £819 including vat, the guy in there said the same as you.

Great saws as Ian says 20" bar and it flies

20" is fine, I've always found they'll pull a 24" alright, but wouldn't go as far as 28.  Always found them good reliable saws.

390XP is a lot more saw and will run a 28" ( I do on my spud ported one )  no problem . Bit of a big ask on a 365 though .

Thanks, guys for the info, went for the 390xp and oh man what a saw, cutting like a hot knife through marg, I'm one very happy camper.
