I think it's a great idea. And if you are prepared to relocate you might find someone who would employ you as well.

Only downside is you would have no excuses for being late for work in the morning.

Put it out there as much as you can. Something will turn up

Being late in the morning isn't my style anyway. Cheers mate. I'm starting to think it might actually work. Finding the right opportunity before we are forced to rent another place might be the tricky bit.

How long have you got before you need to move out ?

Hi get yourself a bus or horse box and convert it , me and my girlfriend and her daughter lived in a converted coach for yrs , had a Rayburn for heat and the best apple crumble ever , lived in a converted lorry and was night watchman for an industrial est in Cambridge, as long as you have tax and mot you can park anywhere , talk to farmers one might let you park on their land in exchange for some tree work , but if you do get lucky like that keep it quiet , best of luck , we have been thinking about getting a removals lorry to convert , check out Tiny House Movement

Brings to mind a memory of bing in St Ives for the solar eclipse in '99....fell in with a troupe of young new-age busker types who had built a full on cottage on the flatbed of an old Mercedes lorry. Proper shingle roof with crooked chimney and all, shutters on the windows, steps to the ground etc. It must have weighed tons. For some reason they drove it into the middle of town, by the pier, and were blocking traffic, and were asked to move. Trying to drive back up the steep hill which is also the main street, the engine blew something and died!

Yes, you can "park" anywhere you like as long as you're legal, "camping" is a different story.

I’m thinking what would I do in this situation!

between you, you need to make the decision. One way or other and make it happen.

meenwhile I would be out getting some work. Print tree work cards, get them out in shop windows. Organise branch removal (legit) maybe something on internet ect ect.

Avoid doing cheap work !that won’t help.

You both will look back with pride at how you came through this.
