Which small husqvarna saw?

If you search on eBay for a 346xp but widen the search area to European Union its a German seller on there. You can pay with PayPal so risk to your money. He’s the only guy selling new ones so won’t be hard to find.

Says the man who runs a 261

I would have suggested a stihl 261 but it's a husky thread...
Maybe the OP just wanted a second rate saw?....

We've got a 135 for use on the farm. Pleased with it so far. It was a little bugger to start and would cut out when cold, but it's improving with use and a little tweak of the idle speed screw.

Yea would spend around £200-£250.
There’s a couple of used 346 on eBay. Is that ever a good idea? Second hand engines?

I found a XP346 locally on Ebay which I won for £140 !

Private user said it cut badly and had no power. Turned out it had the original chain on which I don't think had ever been sharpened (as you couldn't really tell with side of the teeth was the cutting edge!) and the spark plug was  loose. New bar and chain and tight plug and I had a virtually new saw for £140!!!
