My long time mucker is coming to an end, only a youngish fella, that bastard cancer got the better of him. I'm sick to the pit of my belly to see such a big strong man in such a state.

I lost a close friend a week before Xmas - he had just turned 39. Only 7 weeks from diagnosis to game over. 

Enjoy every day, there is no way of knowing when your time is up.

yep, my 39 year old neice who lives like a church mouse has about 2 months to live with metastatic oesophageal cancer. NHS coud do nowt so she and her husband have pumped 1000s into private treatment all to no avail. She will be leaving 3 young kids. God's a twat and a half.

the lucky ones are those that drink smoke and eat and go out quick aged 80 before dementia.

it's a crap shoot.

Sorry to hear this, mate. We lost my brother's lovely partner in May to that bastard condition. She was a cracking lady who had beaten it once but the 2nd time was too much. Thinking of you.
