How about offering up a rough location of where you are and then offer some of the local guys copious amounts of beer to drop logs off:thumbup:

I think if you are happy to bung a local Arb firm a few quid or provide a "good incentive" to drop off a load of rings of otherwise scrap wood, you may get some positive responses.

I get a load of rings here and there and do my customers a few favours on free servicing, beers or a few quid for drinks at their local - works for everyone that way.
