Like the milling rig ?

Highly recommend the double end set up over the single end. Was a little dubious going for it cos of the set up time but what you loose in set up is more than double made up in cutting time...struggle to jam the saws too...#2x880s?

Some pictures of yesterday's work...big old redwood that we couldn't move off site without a crane...worked out better to mill on site...often the way with big stuff

What’s the mill?
The top bar is in two pieces???
Only two cross bars!
No doubt it works... but I’d be having a chat with@RobD about a panther.[emoji6][emoji106]
Great work [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

Hi mate

It is the granberg alaskan mill with the two sections option...admittedly I was using rails that were full length on this job rather than split in half but still had the support rods in place.

I have the conversation about panther's but haven't come across any issues with the granberg yet ?

I know a guy that runs double ended milling on a cheap Chinese copy of the alaskan and haven't heard any complaints yet??

I don't post on here much but guess its always good to be knocked around so maybe more content coming up....watch this space?
