Yeah big upgrades.
Logosol have sponsored me with an F2+. emoji106.pngemoji106.pngemoji106.png
And Rob.d (Chainsawbars.co.uk) has sponsored me with an 60" and an 80" panther mill.emoji106.pngemoji106.pngemoji106.png
After using a chillaskan for years, these new mill are such high end kit.
The logosol is great for dimensional timber and slabs up to 70cm wide and 3.8m long. Bloody useful.emoji106.png
The panther mills are such a step up from chillaskans.
Couldn't go back now.
The logosol and panthers are such wonderful pieces of engineering.
Until you put one together and use it, you don't appreciate the sheer amounts of effort put into them.
My hat off to the designers emoji106.pngemoji106.pngemoji106.png

I think I have an F1. I only do small stuff on it, but it's amazing.

pippy is post 1980 description but I think of it being more dispersed rather than the paw marks

I agree about the cats paw, but there's a fine line between cats paw and light pippy.
It's rare to find proper paw marks in a walking pattern.

This is my F1 setup i can see a few changes that may help the set up a bit easier.  Great set up by the way.

Will have to get me a bar nose holder like yours. On narrow wood with a 25" bar I get the odd bit of washboard.
