Hi Guys!

Trying to price up the cost of converting a Isuzu Dmax single cab into a tipper with chip box.

Anyone got a rough idea on cost of this ? Basic chip box with ladder rack and uprated suspension.

Live in North Yorkshire so someone nearby would be fantastic if anyone knows of a converter ?

This cost me 4080 all in for the conversion and it will be roughly 1k to have it uprated. Most quotes I got were 6-6.5k +vat just for the conversion so I feel I got it cheap but I have had to make a repair so it's all relative, I do feel 6+vat is asking a little much though but if you can get it converted for 5-6k all in then another 1k for the uprate you'll be about right 20180914_120949.jpeg

GDH has a single cab Izusu - 4x4 Utility model I think.  I know he had air suspension fitted to cope with carrying 4m3 of dry firewood. He will reply to this post shortly I am sure, as I am interested also.

I hear varying reports on the best 4x4 s, it seems many choose the Izusu Dmax single cab utility 4x4 on price and it is one of the few that will carry 4m3 firewood with tipper and air suspension fitted. I would like to hear others advice though.

Well you have probably read my experiences with the Dmax. I run a facebook page and I was not alone with the fault.
